My mind is filled with snapshots of a beautiful, meaningful, and incredibly sad and senseless day.
I was privileged to attend a life celebration and memorial for a friend. A vibrant, goodhearted, beautiful and brilliant and accomplished young woman. An adored daughter. Sister. Wife. And mother to a beautiful baby girl. A woman who inspires, even in spirit.
The service was held at Stanford's Memorial Church, a magnificent place, wonderfully befitting of this celebration. Of this mourning.
Every eulogy, including certain excerpts shared of her own writing, moved me beyond anything I have ever read or experienced. And the sadness and the loss were palpable. As was the Love.
Thank you Dear Friend, for all your gifts.
